The Winter Dell The twisting path that leads though the dell is planted on either side with evergreen shrubs, Lonicera pileata, Box, Yew, and Ivy. A small twentieth century statue personifying Winter is the namesake of this dell. Follow the path up the slope, past the Winter statue. The opening in the hedge in front of you leads into the Herbaceous Border.
