Lode Mill On the far side of the Quarry Pool you can see the white painted exterior of Lode Mill. Lord Fairhaven bought it in 1934, originally as a folly and focal point to this area of the garden, but has since been restored to working condition. The mill is open to the public, and on the first Saturday of the month it can be seen working.
